Frequently Asked Questions

Compono VPN is a VPN service using VLESS and Reality protocols that reliably bypasses internet censorship. We help users in Russia, China, UAE, and other restricted regions access Telegram, YouTube, Instagram, and other blocked services.

We use VLESS with Reality — a protocol that makes your traffic look like regular HTTPS to a legitimate website. DPI systems cannot distinguish it from normal web browsing, so they don't block it. Unlike traditional VPNs, there's no detectable VPN signature.

For iOS — Streisand (free on App Store), for Android — v2rayNG (Google Play), for Windows/macOS/Linux — Hiddify. After purchase, you'll receive a subscription link that you import into the app with one tap.

We offer three plans: Start ($1.49/mo) — up to 2 devices, unlimited speed; Pro ($2.99/mo) — up to 6 devices, priority support, all server locations; Max ($4.99/mo) — up to 20 devices, priority support, all locations. Monthly data allowance: 100 GB (Start), 300 GB (Pro), 1 TB (Max).

You can purchase through our Telegram bot @compono_bot or on the website. After payment, you'll receive a subscription link within seconds. Import it into your VPN app, and you're connected — the whole process takes under 2 minutes.

Russian bank cards and SBP via YooKassa, cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT and more) via Cryptomus, Telegram Stars, and several other payment processors. We support RUB, USD, EUR, GBP, and BRL currencies.

VLESS is one of the fastest VPN protocols. Speed loss is typically under 5-10%. YouTube in 4K, video calls, and gaming all work without issues. All plans include unlimited speed — we don't throttle.

We don't store your browsing history or the contents of your traffic. We keep only your email/Telegram contact for communication and delivery, plus the per-subscription traffic total needed to enforce plan limits.

Yes, full refund within 7 days of payment, no questions asked. If the VPN doesn't work for you or doesn't suit your needs — we'll refund immediately.

Write to @compono_support on Telegram. We respond within 15 minutes and can switch you to a backup server if your current one is blocked. We maintain multiple relay servers across different providers for redundancy.

Yes — Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, and most streaming services work reliably. If you need a specific service, check with our support team and we'll confirm or recommend the best server location.

Using VPN for personal purposes is not prohibited in Russia. The law only restricts distributing VPN services that don't comply with Roskomnadzor requirements. As a user, you're not breaking any law.

Free VPNs sell your data, show ads, and limit speed — most are already blocked in censored regions. Compono is a paid service with no ads, no data selling, fast dedicated servers, multi-region redundancy, and responsive support.

Yes — on the Pro or Max plan you can configure your router to route all home traffic through VPN. This covers Smart TVs, game consoles, and any device on your network.

Through the Telegram bot @compono_bot — you can view your plan, check traffic usage, manage connected devices, renew or upgrade your subscription, and apply promo codes.
